Assistive listening devices (ALDs) are commonly used to assist the hearing impaired
Different types of ALD signal transmitters: amplifiers, magnetic, electromagnetic, lights, sound, vibration, etc.
Use of personal cell phones in place of ALDs can help with the carbon footprint of these devices depending on the user’s hearing impairment intensity
